REAL-TIME GEOMECHANICS

Modern well designs require robust pore-pressure and geomechanics models in order to successful achievement of the well objectives.

Geomechanical monitoring involves analysis of the drilling parameters and LWD data in order to validate and re-calibrate pre-drill models. The main objective is to control the stability of the well, preventing the pack-offs, well collapsing or severe mud losses. We offer real-time calculations of the Shmin, SHmax, UCS, overburden, share-failure gradient, and tensile failure gradient. Data is constantly calibrated upon the well behaviour, gas data, and leak-off tests at casing shoes. We utilise numerous models including approaches proposed by Zoback, Kelly-Matthews and others.
